TESOL/Literacy Program Volunteers

Seeking experienced and/or new teachers* in the following disciplines for ASC's lauded TESOL/Literacy program. Small stipend provided. 

Work one-on-one or in small groups with adult students who are learning to read, learning English, or both. Classes meet Monday and Tuesday evenings, 5 to 8 pm. Experience helpful but not required.   • ESL/Literacy; TESOL/TOEFL; Foreign Language; English/Bilingual Education; Linguistics
  • Ability to speak one or more additional language preferred: French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian/Ukranian, Portuguese
  • Ability to work with diverse adult students (21+ yrs), with varying educational experience and/or English language proficiency (No prior education to university educated)
  • Small stipend provided
  • *Willing to provide participation documentation for academic credit for current students to your school
